Host Families for International Students Needed!

Non-profit organization, Cultural Homestay International (CHI), seeks host families for the 2009/2010 Academic School year. CHI was approved by the Council on Standards for International Education Travel (CSIET). CHI was founded with the belief that the best way to eliminate international fears and prejudices is to learn about the cultures. CHI considers a homestay the ideal way to develop friendship and understanding among the peoples of the world. Since 1980, more than 100,000 young people have visited North America under CHI auspices. These high school students come from Europe, Asia and South America. Several are hoping to live in our community with goals of improving their English language skills and learning about every day life in the US.
