Kate Sessions Elementary School, 2150 Beryl Street, is celebrating 50 years of learning in the Pacific Beach Community on Friday, May 12 @ 1:00PM. All Kate Sessions Elementary alumni and their families are invited to attend the special ceremony which will include a tree dedication, student musical performances led by music teacher Darice Westwood, tile decorating, food, and a special surprise guest. A 50th Anniversary Silent Auction & Casino Night will be held Saturday, May 13 @ 5:30PM at the Soledad Club, 5050 Soledad Road. This event is open to the public. Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, music, no host bar, blackjack, poker, a silent & live auction and more! Tickets are $25 per person or $40 per couple and includes $100 of play money for the casino. All proceeds from this evening fund the school’s library, music and art programs.
