Walk A Mile in Her Shoes Fundraiser
Walk A Mile in Her Shoes benefits the YWCA of San Diego County. This is the organizations first annual walk to raise awareness about domestic violence. The walk will take place in downtown San Diego on Thursday, October 16, and all proceeds will benefit the YWCA’s local programs, which assist women and children who are affected by the growing amount of domestic violence within San Diego County. The YWCA is asking men of all ages to sign up now to strut their stuff for a mile in a pair of high heels. Registration is currently underway now for individuals and teams from companies and community groups both large and small.

Registration begins at 4:00 PM, walk at 5:00 PM and reception to follow at 5:30 to 7:00 PM
Walk registration is a $100 donation to the YWCA, to sponsor another walker a contribution of $50 or more is asked.
