Do you have some suggestions about we can to as a community against grafitti? Whenever I see it in my neighborhood, I take a paint chip to a hardware store and have them match the paint. My first suggestion is that people report the grafitti to the web site that I gave in my previous message. If the city gets lot of complaints about grafitti in Pacific Beach it might get cleaned up more quickly. My second suggestion is that business organizations such as the Kiwanis Club, Lions Club, etc., put polite pressure on the merchants who don't clean up the grafitti to do so. Grafitti on one building hurts the merchants who occupy other buildings and everybody who lives in Pacific Beach. (Your actions are commendable!) (SPONSOR 12/12/03 1:40am) REPLY
